Dungeon Poker short rules
- Use normal Texas Holdem rules when playing Dungeon Poker, but notice the following
Each player has their own character with unique special abilities.
Special abilities are used by spending Soul Gems.
A player may perform only one special action during their turn.
Special actions include:
activating a character’s abilities
sacrificing single-use artifacts
using activated abilities of artifacts
selling artifacts
The level changes every five deals.
At the beginning of a new level, draw a new Encounter card.
The winner of the pot may also draw a Treasure card.
When a Monster (M) card appears, it must be immediately revealed and replaced with a new normal card. After that, draw one monster from the Monster deck into play.
When a monster wins the deal, the entire pot goes to the bank, and the monster is shuffled back into the Monster deck.
- Monsters, and players can always use maximum of 2 hand cards, if not stated differently.
If you lose all your money, your character dies. You may re-enter the game with a new character and a Skull card.
You can win the game by accumulating enough gold, collecting powerful artifacts, or being the last remaining player without a Skull card.
